Greeters

2007 Annual Report

The role of the Greeters is to welcome all who attend services at St. Michaels, whether they are visiting for the first or second time or parishioners who have been around for years.  Everyone enjoys being made welcome.  Greeters encourage newcomers to sign the guest registry and attend the coffee hour.

In 2007, we were sorry to say goodbye to Jane Vonasek, as well as John & Nancy Gallapaga who are taking a temporary break.
Serving regularly at the 8:00 AM service are Janet Dick, Bob and Gail McMichael, and Sue Corbin.  Serving regularly at the 10:00 AM service are Bill Behnk, Sue Davis, Virginia Derickson, Selma Fields, Penny Frampton, Sue Gaston, Mary Groesbeck, Diane Hegland, Marijane Jacobs, Martha MacBride, Cynthia Metcalf, Dallas and Merrily Pennington, Dick Pryor, Herb and Lynn Rodebaugh, Carla Vento, Jim Weichert, and Mary Wilbur.  Becky Buchmiller and Myra Pierce serve as substitutes.

If you are interested in joining this fulfilling ministry at St. Michael’s, please contact the church office, Cynthia Metcalf, or Kathy Hanson.

Kathy Hanson and Cynthia Metcalf, Coordinators, January 2008
