Questions

You may have noticed a bit of a change in the St. Michael’s Episcopal Church website. Our new site is being designed to respond better to you, our visitors and parishoners, by presenting information and resources you may need or enjoy through categories that hopefully will make the most sense. Clearly this is an ambitious effort, and one which will take some time to work out. We appreciate your patience, your feedback and your comments as we continue to develop our online presence.

What are the two main sections all about?

We expect our visitors will have a wide range of needs and levels of experience with the Episcopal Church. Lifelong Episcopalians may know the Church inside and out, while others may not know a narthex from a nave. Our site has settled into three natural communities  -- the Seeker, or non-Episcopalian, the Parishioner (the 'people in the pews'), and the Church Leader (lay or ordained -- leadership comes in many forms in our Church.)

What would I find here?

This section is designed with the St. Michael's regulars or curious in mind. We hope to provide resources and information for the each parish member to understand our Church a little better and to assist in the growth in understanding what it is to be an Episcopalian.

This section is about our daily life, to help you find out what is happening and help you participate in all the activities that our church has to offer.

Additionally, if you're new or have been here awhile, if you're curious, these pages might provide new information.

Look around and tell us what you think. This is here for you.

The Home Page site is what the general public will see when they first come to our church webpage. We want to give them a feel for the type of people we are and the kinds of things we do.

It's also an invitation to Join Us in our path towards God. It will provide more "general" information about our church and hopefully make them feel comfortable enough to spend more time on the site and possibly among us in the "real world.
