Our Hiking Club has arranged five hikes, all on Saturdays, leaving by carpool from the church parking lot about 7:30 am.  We're normally back by 5:00 pm after a 3-4 miles hike from a mountain or coastal trailhead.  Contact one of our enthusiastic leaders, listed below, for details.

May 10  -     Codfish Creek (Mary Wilbur)
June 21  -     Coldstream at Donner Lake
                        (Phil  Anderson)
July 12   -     Muir Woods (Dick Pryor)
Aug. 16  -     Lake Margaret  (Don Hall)
Sept. 13  -    Angel Island (Sally or John Jervis)

2007 Annual Report

St. Michael's Hiking Club members enjoyed five outings in 2007, taking them from the seashore to the Sierra.  The hikers met Saturday mornings in the church parking lot and carpooled their way to pre-planned scenic destinations.  Following a mid-April rain out, club members went to:

May 19: Mt. Diablo
June 9: Point Reyes
July 21: Shealor Lakes, Highway 88
August 17: Lyons Creek, Highway 50
September 15: Goat Rock, Sonoma Coast

Hiking members include:  Phil Anderson, Dorothy Eddings and her grandson, Jake;  Pat Gilbert, Mary Groesbeck,  Don Hall and Carol Maxwell, John and Sally Jervis, Jack and Billie McPhillips, Dick Pryor, Mary Wilbur and Nancy Wilkowski.
